At their 17th participation in the fair, a number of Iranian companies and tourism agencies took part to introduce Persian culture and traditional artworks.

At this year's event, the public and special programs held by Iran's pavilion attracted the attention of many visitors.

Along with exhibiting Persian teahouse, the visitors were also served with Iranian ethnical sweets.

As the biggest tourism trade fair among the countries of Latin America, Portugal and Spain, the 2012 international tourism trade fair of Madrid (FITUR) opened on January 18. Official delegations, tourism professionals and exhibitors from over 160 countries attended the event.

The fair was scheduled to promote trade activity among professionals from January 18 to 20. Then it welcomed the public on the weekend, January 21 and 22, 2012.
