Implementing self-controlling quality system in Iran Khodro

According to Khabar Khodro, implementing self-controlling quality system and supervising project according to valid companies have resulted in significant quality improve in engine production.

Mohammad Soghrati, chief of engine quality said that current ways of quality testing have been changed compared to past and added, “These ways are based on and accomplished according to supervision and responsibility of all related people and organizations in production process.”

He said, “In recent years many quality projects have been accomplished in engine making, which outlook is producing and delivering engines with no fault to final consumers.”

He told, “After accomplishing these projects, returned engine index has improved significantly and this process would be continued until achieving determined goal of deputy quality of this group.

“With current process we would reach to mid term goals in a short period, too.”

Soghrati admitted, “In order to help self-sufficiency and reach to acceptable quality level for raw materials it is necessary to transfer experiences and science to smaller companies in supply chain.”

He remarked, “Managing quality groups in deputy of powerplant making is one of the inventions that is started for problems’ systematic follow-up and now 7 groups are working with determined fields.”

Chief of engine quality told, “Periodical audits of development organization and also PSA audit, which is done regularly is another way of evaluating engine that has an important role in retaining quality level of products.”

Finally, he hoped that we would see production according to costumers’ expectations in near future with determined plans.
