Granting facilities from the national development fund for the public transportation should be considered

According to Khabar Khodro, member of Industries and Mines Commission in Parliament about budget of year 93 for public transportation said, “It seems that some facilities should have been granted to public transportation from national development fund.”

Elias Taheri in an interview with Khabar Khodro’s reporter told, “Representatives of Parliament have done their effort to granting more budget and they are willing to offer new suggestions and we hope that these new sugestions to be welcomed and studied.”

He mentioned to the suggestion of government about granting facilities for the public transportation from the national development fund and added, “Government’s suggestion is using 29 to 31 percent facilities of national development fund in this segment that is specified for production sector.”

He remarked, “Members of Combining Commission in Parliament have separated public transportation from 29 to 31 percent share of production from national development fund but other representatives are still considering its happening.”

Taheri mentioned to supplying budget of public transportation from targeting subsidies and said, “Certainly, in targeting subsidies this budget granting would be happened.”

Finally, he told, “Paying attention to environment and improving public transportation is essential therefore granting budget from targeting subsidies would be in evitable. However, accomplishing the second phase of targeting subsidies is postponed to Khordad of next year.”
