Production of more than 200 EF7 engines per day in Iran Khodro

According to Khabar Khodro, with solving the problem of supplying cylinder head gasket and oil module the production of EF7 engines in Iran Khodro production line has increased again and soon would reach to 300 to 350 units per day.

Iran Khodro's deputy of driving force production said, “EF7 engine is so advanced and its repair in network of after sales services is so important so Iran Khodro trains the repairers in its line ups in order to equip them with necessary skills and knowledge.”

Jamshid Heydar Kondori added, “First 37000 units of EF7 engines had no problems but later because of problems in supplying some parts of it there had occurred some problems, which resulted in costumers’ dissatisfaction.”

He told, “From last year processes of producing EF7 engine backed to the original flow, revisions has been made and people again can ride the Samand, which sports this engine.”

He reiterated, “Now daily production in Iran Khodro’s engine line up is 2200 units of different engines that can be extended to 3000 units.”

He admitted, “Engine line up could be able to produce different updated engines of the world with minor changes.”

He also announced that mass production of TU3 engines would commence in first half of this year and with equipping 206’s platform with it, the production of one of the most popular types of the car would be started again.
