A good opportunity for removing greenhouse conditions from auto industry

According to Khabar Khodro, member of board of management in Iran House of Industry, Mine and Trade said, "With real privatization in auto industry automakers can move forward in decreasing costs and improving quality along with appropriate management."

Arman Khaleghi in an interview with Khabar Khodro's reporter told, "The current situation in auto industry is minus and the condition of local automakers should be determined in respect of whether is it quasi-governmental or quasi-private."

He admitted, "The approach of famous automakers in the world should be considered as a benchmark and our manufacturers should exit quasi-governmental conditions."

"It seems that effective solution to the issue is moving forward private and real property in auto industry."

He explained that cars in the world are competitive products in favor of action in private segment and added, "There is such an approach for activities in the world while High Economic Council has announced that vehicles are exclusive products in Iran."

He remarked, "Considering the concept of exclusivity for products it seems that current condition is not a good way for exiting dependence and codifying cars' prices."

Khaleghi mentioned to the approach of government in satisfying costumers without considering automakers' rights and added, "The action is done while in recent two years the price of ingredients, consume energy and wages have increased the cost of producing cars so the price of vehicles should be increased like other products."

He said, "We should prevent any pressures in auto industry and ordering commands of government for automakers should also be removed."

"Deletion of importing tariff in current condition is out of problem but along it we should make same conditions and business situation in Iran as foreign manufacturers."
