According to Khabar Khodro, engineer Hashem Yeke Zare', the CEO of Iran Khodro and Jean-Christophe Quémard, chief deputy of PSA Peugeot-Citroen have had negotiations about resuming cooperation.

According to Khabar Khodro, engineer Hashem Yeke Zare', the CEO of Iran Khodro and Jean-Christophe Quémard, chief deputy of PSA Peugeot-Citroen have had negotiations about resuming cooperation.

In these negotiations chief deputy of PSA Peugeot-Citroen affirmed the company's will for being presence in Iran market as entrance to the region and both parts talked about comprehensive joint venture, production and exports.

In these negotiations it was decided to use the environmentally friendly engines in Iran Khodro products.

Developing new fuel efficient engine with 80 percent localization is among mentioned issues. The engine has Euro 6 standard, which is valid until year 2019.

It is to say that, Peugeot-Citroen is second big automaker in the Europe and Peugeot is subset of it.
