First shipment of Saipa products in Belarus

According to Khabar Khodro, first cargo of Tiba vehicles from Saipa has been sent to the Belarus market.

Belarus is a part of Triple Customs Union of Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus and follows Russian standard of vehicles.

Tiba, which has passed standard tests of Russia last year, is allowed to go to this market.

In Belarus with 10 million populations, only heavy duty vehicles are made. Market of heavy duty vehicles in this country is improving and in 2013 it has a sales record for new passenger cars.

Passenger cars' market in Belarus is so competitive for Saipa like other CIS countries. The freedom of importing used cars along with presence of VAZ products from Russia that are sold in Belarus with Lada brand and exemption from customs duty and presence of famous global automakers such as VW, Renault and Kia have made a competitive market in this country.

High prices of spare parts and after sales services in this market have caused price reduction of cars after ending the guaranty period. Such conditions have made good opportunity for Saipa to be present there as competitive prices of spare parts and services is one of the advantages of these products in different export markets and it would prevent price reduction after end of guaranty period.
