A solution for going away from current condition of auto industry

According to Khabar Khodro, member of Economic Commission in Parliament told, "Importing cars with any goals and by anyone would hurt auto industry and it could result in closing the industry."

Ibrahim Nekou in an interview with Khabar Khodro's reporter said, "Importing cars in current condition is so risky and it should be controlled more."

He added, "While local auto industry is ill the decision of importing foreign cars in order to cure this illness would result in harder problems."

He remarked, "While auto industry is facing many problems, importing foreign vehicles in such condition would hurt the body structure of industry and could make depression and Bankruptcy."

He remarked, "Now that the auto industry of Iran is not resistive we should first try to move away from such condition and make this industry more active and update certainly in current condition importing vehicles from foreign countries would make more problems in auto industry of country."

Nekou mentioned to the speaks of Supreme Leader about importing cars and added, "As he told, views toward imports should be different as in a condition that this industry is still facing problems in quality and some factors and it is not reached significant advancements this amount of imports is motivating costumers for using foreign products."

He reiterated, "If Iranian automakers move in a way that is improving and advancing quality, standard and other factors and reach to the level of global auto industry then importing cars would make competitiveness in auto industry of this country and it would become more advanced."
