Achieving 54 percent of market share by Iran Khodro

According to Khabar Khodro, Iran Khodro Industrial Group could achieve more than half of truck and passenger cars' market share with its new determined strategy for increasing production, improving quality and diversity of products.

Iran Khodro has achieved 54 percent of truck and passenger cars' market share with producing and launching 211907 units of these vehicles in first five months of this year. This achievement is due to continuity of development-oriented programs in helm of company and activists in manufacturing sector.

According to this report, in first five months of last year, Iran Khodro has produced 90883 units of trucks and passenger cars. The company has produced 122000 units more than same time last year and record 133 percent growth.

In addition, production and sales growth of Iran Khodro is the result of infrastructural changes and reducing extra costs.

It is to say that in first five months of this year local automakers have produced 399846 units of trucks and passenger cars totally, which sees 72 percent growth compared to same time last year.
