Managing car imports is a good opportunity for local automakers

According to Khabar Khodro, member of Economic Commission in Parliament said, "In current condition, import of luxury cars has hurt local production and it would result in deploying aristocratic culture."

Ibrahim Nekou in an interview with Khabar Khodro's reporter told, "Today, lack of management in this sector and importing unlimited number of cars has hurt local auto industry and it would result in depression and bankruptcy."

He added, "Any prevention in importing luxury cars and managing them is would make an opportunity for local automakers in order to consider quality and efficiency in production."

He admitted, "In this process, automakers should build vehicles based on costumers' favor along with considering quality and efficiency as inattention to these issues would result in more possibilities for importing foreign and luxury vehicles."

He remarked, "Today, most of the car buyers are considering quality of local cars along with their prices while before costumers were buying based on their economic conditions."

He reiterated, "If automakers move forward with global auto making and in the way of advancement and development then importing cars would make competitiveness along with improving auto making."

Finally, Nekou added, "most of the issues on quality and prices of cars would be solved with privatization and it would result in attracting attentions of more local costumers."
