Other models of Tondar family are coming

According to Khabar Khodro, deputy production of Tondar in Iran Khodro said, "Other products such as a van and a hard top truck based on X90 platform are designed and we are talking to Renault Pars for producing them."

Muhammad Reza Motamed added, "We are willing to offer products for costumers with new look and according their needs."

He told, "Production lines in Iran Khodro are capable of producing different vehicles with same platform and if new vehicle is based on a different platform there would be built a new body developing salon."

He remarked, "Assembly and paint salons are capable of developing any product with different capacities and sizes."

He admitted, "Tondar pickup shares its platform with Tondar 90 passenger car, which would result in cost saving and high efficiency of work forces."

About Tondar 90 automatic he reiterated, "There was good response for this vehcile in market and now about 70 percent of Tondar's daily production is dedicated to this product."

About face lifted Tondar of this group he said, "This project is ended but considering the pause between design to ending it, there would be a new Clinique for it to see whether there is demand for it in market and determine a seven year timeline for the project."

Motamed told, "Our goal is supplying needs and requirements of costumers and we are ready to offer vehicles based on the costumer's taste."

About current condition in Tondar 90 production line he added, "There were some problems in supplying some parts but in negotiations with Renault Pars it was decided to solve these problems and increase production capacity."

He remarked, "The problem of supplying air bags was solved with help of local manufacturers and from first of Mehr all produced Tondars would be launched with two air bags."

About cooperation with Renault he explained, "Both parts are devoted and willing to continuing cooperation and after removing international barriers it would be continued."
