Saipa is leading in research and development

According to Khabar Khodro, Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade announced the need to more support for auto industry and said, "In recent 10 years auto industry in Iran was always harmful and if targeting development it should be removed from hurting."

Engineer Muhammad Reza Nematzade in celebrating meeting of martyr's children employed in Saipa in respect of "Defa Moghadas" week added, "We hope that all people understand the necessity of supporting auto industry and help us in increasing capabilities of this sector."

He mentioned to the notification of macroeconomic policies in the field of science and technology announced by Supreme Leader and told, "Automakers should be supported in order to accomplish these policies and we should not expect the industry to be developed by long time losses."

He mentioned to the importance of research and design in auto industry and remarked, "Now Saipa is leading in this segment and its research and innovation center has acceptable action for the issue. Automakers should try to cooperate with foreign partners and participate in joint plans with international companies."

About efforts of automakers for developing Euro 4 vehicles he reiterated, "Fortunately, there are acceptable results in this segment and while Euro 4 fuel is not prepared completely for whole country all local vehicles are produced and launched with this standard."

He admitted, "As the importance of auto industry cannot be disregarded we are trying to prepare more coordination for supporting this industry with holding automotive policy council meetings."

Nematzade said, "Daily increase in production cars and paying attention to exports in this segment is one of the most important strategies of Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade for achieving goals of resistive economy."

Finally he told, "We hope that problems related to sanctions to be removed as soon as possible in order to see more cooperation with international companies."
