Foreign cooperation would result in improving the brand of Iran Khodro

According to Khabar Khodro, foreign cooperation of Iran Khodro would not be assembly and it is planned in a way that its result would be improving parts makers and introducing Iran Khodro brand in global markets.

Engineer Hashem Yeke Zare', the CEO of Iran Khodro in a meeting with some officials of Shahryar, Ghods and Malard cities said, "Production plan for this year that is notified by the Ministry of Industry is 600000 units and production in first six months of this year with more than double increase has reached to 275000 units."

He told, "We should believe that solution for economy in country is high tech and high quality products that are good for export."

He mentioned to auto making as "the engine of industries in country" and added, "In 70s there were good activities in auto industry but after this period auto making could not reach its real level and have acceptable growth."

He remarked, "We are trying to widen auto industry of Iran with help of officials and government support."

He admitted, "Now we have passed crisis and do not have any concern in this sector with producing 2400 units of complete vehicles and now our goal is improving products, increasing quality of vehicles and after sales services and export oriented manufacturing."

Yeke Zare' told that base of cooperation with foreign partners is joint benefits and improvement of local parts makers.
