The necessity of institutionalizing Ergonomics Culture in auto industry of country

According to Khabar Khodro, second national Conference on Ergonomics in the Auto Industry has been hold in Pars Khodro with presence of some chief executives of the automakers and faculty members.

According to the reporter of Khabar Khodro, the CEO of Pars Khodro at this conference mentioned to the necessity of institutionalizing Ergonomics Culture in auto industry and said, "Accomplishing ergonomics as an instrument for job satisfaction and comfort of employees would have direct and positive impact on achieving big goals in efficiency, benefits and improving quality of products with organizations."

Engineer Agha Mohammadi added, "Any investment in ergonomics would result in happy, safe and risk free environment in manufacturing and economic enterprises and satisfaction of employees along with increasing efficiency, developing quality and costumers' satisfaction."

He told, "There should be enough efforts in auto making industries and enterprises for investing in infrastructures and institutionalizing Ergonomics Culture in order to make such goals."

About different views toward ergonomics, he remarked, "Always there were two points of views toward the issue one of which is the belief in the direct and effective role of ergonomics for goals of company, which would facilitate achieving goals and is dominated in developed countries."

He admitted, "The second view, which is opposed to first one, is the belief in less relation between job satisfaction, achieving goals of company, increasing efficiency and costumers' satisfaction and those following this view believe that applying ergonomics would not have much impact on the issue."

He supported the first view and added, "Any investment in work conditions, creating happiness and warmth and safety and accurate matching of user's working environment would result in increased efficiency, greater productivity and access to higher quality."
