Renault working on a 7-seat crossover

According to Khabar Khodro, Renault is reported to be working on a 7-seat crossover that will sit atop the recently announced Kadjar crossover. A launch date for the said 7-seater hasn’t been announced yet as “it’s too early to say just yet” Jerome Stoll, Executive VP and Chief Performance Officer at Renault told Auto Express.

The flagship SUV is likely to share its underpinnings with the Nissan X-Trail, which is based on the CMF platform jointly developed by Renault and Nissan. On the design front, it won’t be wrong to expect a Captur/Kadjar-like design.

A previous report also states that the next-generation will also get an optional seven seat arrangement.
