According to Khabar Khodro, member of board of managers in Iran Tire Industry Association mentioned to the necessity of increasing the tariff of importing tire and said, "There have been made no changes in the tariff amount of importing tire but we expect that it will increase soon considering the necessity of supporting local production."

Allocating commutative exchange for importing tire is an unforgivable cruelty to production

According to Khabar Khodro, member of board of managers in Iran Tire Industry Association mentioned to the necessity of increasing the tariff of importing tire and said, "There have been made no changes in the tariff amount of importing tire but we expect that it will increase soon considering the necessity of supporting local production."

Dr. Sotoude in an interview with Khabar Khodro's reporter told, "In order to safe local industry against imports we should consider logical supportive tariff for importing tires like other countries in order to safe local industry against importing and damping."

He added, "Today the amount of importing most products in countries such as Turkey and US including tire is much more than current tariffs in Iran while we should safe tire industry and other manufacturing industries in order to save employment otherwise we would see reduction and stop in production of tire in country."

He admitted, "Importing tires should has specific resource as vehicles and paying attention is needed in importing tires. Imported tires should have dealerships in order to make a resource for costumers to refer to when there is problem for tires' safety. But now none of the imported tires have identification."

He remarked, "Unfortunately, now most of the imported tires in country do not have after sales services support while local manufacturers offer three years guarantee for their tires."

He reiterated, "All foreign manufacturers that are willing to export tires to Iran should have dealerships here and offer necessary after sales services for their products."

The CEO of Yazd Tire said, "Unfortunately, now about 70 percent of imported tires in Iran are Chinese ones and most of them have low quality with lowest standards. Certainly, importing high quality products of this country would not be concerning but such products are more expensive than local products."

He admitted, "Now we are facing the tension of reduced or stopped production in tire industry as the result of false management in importing tires in Iran."
