Increasing prices of cars in year 94 is essential

According to Khabar Khodro, sales deputy in Saipa Auto Group announced that increasing prices of cars in year 94 is essential.

Reza Taghizade, sales deputy in Saipa said, "The base of increasing prices of cars based on law is Council on Competitiveness and by the formula that is determined by it."

He added, "According to this formula, partial inflation of vehicles in addition to the ratio specified by Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade with inquiry from central bank is determined and announced annually. Considering the increase of partial inflation ratio in this year, increasing prices of cars based on the determined formula is definite."

He admitted, "On the other hand, the effective factor in this formula is quality of products in which Saipa products have grown 5 to 6 percent this year. Therefore, based on this formula, prices of products should be increased."

He remarked, "Last year, prices of cars increased 3 percent despite the 10 percent permit. Considering, 10 percent increase of exchange price, 6 percent increase of tariff and continuous increase of prices for ingredients along with 17 percent increase of wages it is essential to increase prices of cars by 10 percent."

He reiterated, "However, Saipa has send its request for increasing prices of its products and is waiting for the answer of the Council of Competitiveness."
