Officials of Daimler have visited IDEM

According to Khabar Khodro, high officials of Daimler have visited IDEM (Iranian Diesel Engine Manufacturing Company)and visited the company’s managers in order to increase technical cooperation and develop its products’ market in Iran.

At the visit, where officials of Daimler from Middle East and powerplant divisions were present, there were talks about further increase cooperation in developing newest generation of diesel engines of the world including OM, OM 926, OM 924 and 457 and improving omission standard of manufactured engines up to Euro 5 and Euro 6.

According to the report of public relations in Iran Khodro Diesel, considering existing facilities, experiences and technical sciences in IDEM, at the meeting there were talks about transferring new and updated technical science and increasing cooperation in order to improve market share and exports of parts made in Iran to the marketsin region and Mercedes Benz Company.

Engineer Yeke Zare’, the CEO of Iran Khodro Industrial Group previously has announced the plan of Daimler for buying 30 percent stock of IDEM and producing new engines at this company.

IDEM company is the sub brand of Iran Khodro Diesel Group and the designer and manufacturer of different diesel engines in Iran and basic supplier of parts that Iran Khodro Diesel need.
