According to Khabar Khodro, Amir Hossein Amiri, chief of sales and marketing in Modiran Khodro Companyhas announced the debut of Tiggo 5 SUV in an event with presence of high officials and activists in auto industry in Mordad 27th at Mashhad international auto show.
He said, “As the third pole of auto making in country, Modiran Khodro Company has significant share of market and production and has made more than 3000 direct and 10000 indirect employments as the biggest individual automaker in country.”
He told, “Long term cooperation of Chery and Modiran Khodro Company has resulted in production of luxury Chery products with MVM brand in our country. Therefore, it is planned to produce some luxury productsof Chery in Modiran Khodro Company and to launch them with Chery brand and by dealerships of Modiran Khodro Company. This strategy is based on best global brands.”
He added, “This vehicle would be produced in Modiran Khodro Company in Iran and would be known as a local product.”
He admitted, “Tiggo 5 SUV is a luxury vehicle and the result of work of Chery international design and engineering team, which consists of famous European engineers. Tiggo 5 would be launched as luxury brand of Modiran Khodro Company with Chery logo and in different types. Its full option trim would sport CVT automatic gearbox, ESP including DTC, HHC, EBA, ASR, EBD and ABS, power driver seat, starter, power sunroof, leather upholstery sates, driver and passenger airbag, side airbags, 7 inch touchscreen DVD player and rear camera, park sensor, cruise control, voice control steering and GPS and updated facilities.”
He remarked, “Considering significant features of this vehicle and its options and quality, we expect it to sell well. This vehicle would be sold with 5 years of 150000 kilometer guarantee. Such a long time guarantee confirms its good quality.”
He reiterated, “Another vehicle, which is named New MVM 110 or MVM 110s would also be shown in Mashhad auto show. This vehicle would be launched in electric and petrol variants. The petrol variant of this vehicle would be launched with the price tag under 30 million toman. The s letter added to the name of this vehicle stands for sport that shows it if youthful vehicle.”
