There is a long way until reaching to the ideal point in after sales services

According to Khabar Khodro, CEO Deputy and chief of sales and after services in Siba Motor told, “There is a long way until reaching to the ideal point in after sales services.”

MehrdadAminiKhoi in an interview with Khabar Khodro’s reporter said, “Now, the condition of after sales services for low quality or best vehicles is so differentbased on the investment amount in this sector.”

He added, “Today, importer companies of diesel vehicles offer after sales services with minimum dealerships while there is high amount of pressure and costs for manufacturers of diesel vehicles.”

He criticized the inconsistency in offering after sales services in Iran and admitted, “If an importer sells a CBU vehicle there would be no expectation for after sales services but automakers should open after sales services dealerships, invest and make central workshops. In addition, these dealerships should score more than 4 and follow some standards of Ministry of Industry and Mine.”

In comparing after sales services in Iran and foreign countries he reiterated, “Of course, there is distance in quality and quantity of after sales services with countries that have brands but there is no difference between Iran and countries like China.”

He remarked, “Unfortunately, with investments and subsidies allocated to dealerships their incomes are not enough for costs.”

Amini added, “In such a condition one cannot expect dealerships to offer best services along with holding training periods while they also need subsidies.”

He told, “Despite all efforts of automakers for after sales services in recent years, still there are some deficiencies in this sector and it needs more works.”
