First joint product of Saipa and Citroen to be launched by end of year 96

According to Khabar Khodro, the CEO of Saipa Auto Group has announced the launch of first joint product of Saipa and French Citroen Company by end of next year and said, “Agreement of Saipa with Citroen is finalized and soon cooperation with this company would be started after transferrin the stock of Saipa Kashan.”

According to the reporter of Khabar Khodro, Mahdi Jamali during the event of delivering first Volvo trucks in Saipa Diesel about the partnership with Kia Motors told, “Saipa Diesel would certainly cooperate with every company that is willing to invest.”

He also mentioned to design of SP 100 platform in Saipa and added, “From Khordad of next year first product based on this platform would be build and by end of next year first series of products based on it would be launched to the market.”

The CEO of Saipa also mentioned to the plan of this company for improve quality of products and admitted, “Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade makes more severe standards for manufacturing vehicles and for next year 11 new standards are added to current standards, which should be applied on all products of this company including X100 and X200 and new ones.”

He remarked, “Therefore, by end of year 97, 81 European standards would be mandatory in Iran and every vehicle that could not be follow those standards would not be allowed to numbering.”

He reiterated, “Automatic Saina would be launched in market by end of this year.”

He mentioned to the road transportation in Iran and said, “Unfortunately, there are many old high duty vehicles in country, which use high amount of fuel, and as the result the air pollution level is high here.”

About the delivery of first series of Volvo trucks by Saipa Diesel in order to renew transportation fleet in Iran he told, “Saipa has offered a plan in order to support renewal of vehicles and decrease air pollution and with cooperation of Tose’eTa’avon Bank (Cooperative Development Bank), Mellat Bank and Dey Bank has launched 3500 heavy duty vehicles to advocates.”

He added, “Saipa has offered good plans for renewal of old light duty vehicles.”
