According to Khabar Khodro, the CEO of Saipa has announced the goals in year 98 for applying product development and changing in amount of production, diversity and combination of products in order to respond to tastes and needs of customers.
Sayyed Javad Soleimani announced that Saipa in two segments of commercial and modern vehicles with cooperation with foreign partners supply needed products of market and said, "We want to widen our portfolio with producing vehicles in higher levels in order to increase quality level.”
He added, "Saipa always was known as basic manufacturer of economic and lower price vehicles in Iran and now considering the need of market for more advanced vehicles with better equipment and in order to respond to tastes and needs of society, the policy of producing mid-trim and high-trim vehicles is considered in Saipa.”
He told, ‘The base of this policy is to design and develop diverse vehicles based on SP100 platform of Saipa and with modern features. Therefore, design and development of some new products for launch in future with local investment and capacities would be started on this platform.”
The CEO of Saipa remarked, "In recent years, demands of society form automakers have changed and costumers are asking for more advanced vehicles. Therefore, Saipa would try to produce vehicles with more equipment and higher quality along with responding to market need for economic vehicles with building newer and more equipped products.”
He also mentioned to the presence of Saipa in export markets and added, "Developing portfolio and production of vehicles with considered features has increased Saipa’s competitiveness in foreign markets and has resulted in more market share.”
