Not let automotive industry suffer the fate of shoe industry

According to KHABAR KHODRO, industry commissioner of Islamic parliament in addition to criticizing import foreign car said: irregular imports beats the big blow to domestic cars and would destroy most of job opportunities.

Speaking with reporter of KHABAR KHODRO, Hossein garrosi said: government should impose some rules to reduce imports because there is no need to import these cars.

He considered variety in production as best incentive to make imports week and added: automakers can produce cars such as Samand which is national brand in station, wagon, suv, pickup and ambulance in order to increase consumer incentives to buy them.

He added: government should support them more with facilitates because it can reduce prices and purchasing car would be increased.

He said release orders caused Chinese cars come to country and added: having 90 percent tariff and releasing orders registration, importing cars with high price and qualified is not justified so importers try to import Chinese cars and since most customers pay attention to style than post sale services they buy these cars but these cars break down after 4 years and has no economic explanation.

He restated: the more import cars come to country the more loss we have and automotive industry will be eliminate such as shoes and weaver industries and Chinese cars will be instead of our car.

Stating that we should make least importing cars he said: commercial department should pay attention that import cars have necessary standards and take more harsh obstacles.

At the end he said: import cars with 90 percent tariffs would have economic justification for Chinese cars and would beat domestic cars.
