Volkswagen is brought to the Frankfurt Motor Show concept car Buggy Up, built around the compact hatchback up! and executed in the back “buggy.”
According to KHABAR KHODRO, The concept car has a 44 mm longer than the hatchback version of the series up!, 31 mm wider and 190 mm below. Thus, its overall length, width and height are 3584, 1672 and 1288 mm respectively. Despite its compact size, the car received a 18-inch wheels with 205/40 tires dimensions.
The car is painted in bright orange, some elements – in the color “metallic silver”. Salon car is decorated in the same shades. Volkswagen is positioning its cars as “waterproof”: as cars in the back of “buggy” are intended primarily for trips to the beach, the thresholds are made on it so that water could flow down from the cabin. Driver and passenger seats are made of waterproof material – neoprene.
Previously, “Volkswagen” introduced the production version of the hatchback up!, Which was the smallest car in the lineup of the brand. The car will be offered with two three-cylinder petrol engines in one liter, developing 60 and 75 horsepower.
