Renault will have an impressive product portfolio for Indian car market

Renault India is all set to bring out three new cars in the Indian car market.

According to KHABAR KHODRO, A senior spokesperson for the company said that these new launches could be expected in 2012. Mr. Len Curran, Vice President Sales and Marketing of Renault India said that these three launches are part of a plan to launch a total of five new vehicles.

A mini SUV named Duster was among the vehicles to be brought out and is expected by mid 2012 while a midsized sedan was expected by end 2012. Curran spoke about the launch of a new Koleos in Kerala, a state which the company rates as an important market in India. 40% of the people of Kerala own cars which is the highest percentage than any other state of India.

Renault is also thinking of setting up service centers and dealerships in Kozhikode and Thiruvananathapuram by end of 2011, as well as, facilities in Mangalore, Karnataka, Bhopal and Indore. Koleos which is priced at Rs.22.94 lakhs is manufactured by Renault at their Chennai set up which has an annual capacity of 50000 units.
