According to KHABARKHODRO, Chrysler Group LLC released today its figures for October 2011. Sales were up 27% compared to same period last year, mainly by the Chrysler 200 midsize sedan, the Jeep Compass compact sport utility vehicle and the Ram pickup truck.

According to KHABARKHODRO, Chrysler Group LLC released today its figures for October 2011. Sales were up 27% compared to same period last year, mainly by the Chrysler 200 midsize sedan, the Jeep Compass compact sport utility vehicle and the Ram pickup truck.

 

According to the company’s declarations, during October vehicle sales grew with 27 percent, reaching at 114,512 units and counting as the 19th consecutive month of year-over-year sales increase.

 

The company sold in Ocotber a total of 114,512 vehicles, driven by retail sales, which registered a 40% increase compared to the same month last year.

 

Reid Bigland, president and CEO - Dodge Brand and head of U.S. Sales stated: “In what is turning out to be a strong new vehicle sales industry we continued to outperform. For October, our retail sales increased 40 percent year-over-year with sales of the Chrysler 300 more than doubling and Jeep Compass sales increasing nearly fivefold. The month of October also marked our 19th-consecutive month of year-over-year sales gains.”

 

All the four company brands Chrysler, Jeep Dodge, and Ram Truck reported sales increases compared to the same month a year ago. Chrysler brand posted the best October sales since 2007, with a 405% YOY increase in Chrysler 200. Jeep brand registered its 18th-consecutive month sales growth, the sales counted as the best October sales since 2006. Ram pickup sales increased with 21%; representing the best October sales since 2007, while Dodge brand registered best October sales since 2008 with a 25 percent increase compared to last year.
