Micro hybrid Samand production kicks off

According to khabarkhodro, Samand Micro hybrid successfully passed the euro 4 standard tests.

Engineer Mohammad Javad Soleymani, deputy of IranKhodro’s general manager, said: Micro hybrid Samand’s confirmation process has done on 50 sample models during 2 month. Soleymani said: Micro hybrid which is an electrical on-off system is considered as a customized feature for IranKhodro’s productions. He also said: IranKhodro has supplied 40 units Micro hybrid Samand which were made at the preproduction level, to the market. These units were sold off just in four days and costumers were agreeing to pay 500.000 tuman more than base price to use this optional feature. Soleymani said: in accordance with IranKhodro’s plan, 1000 units’ Micro hybrid Samand with the feature of air bag will produce to the end of the year. He said: with the using of Micro hybrid system, the fuel efficiency of a car will increase to 4.5%.
