After the Jaguar C-X15 has made its official debut back in 2011 in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show before it arrived over-seas in the same year at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show, the concept car is now getting ready to be presented at the 2012 Canadian Auto Show, which will officially open its gates on the 17th of February, in Toronto.
According to the car manufacturer, the Jaguar C-X15 Concept is the E-Type for the modern era and the model is coming with two seats, being actually more compact than the current XK. The Jaguar C-X15 Concept is 4,445 mm long (175 inches), 2,048 mm wide (80.6 inches) and 1,297 mm tall (51 inches), while weight 1,600 kg (3,527 lbs), with a perfect weight distribution of 50-50.
Jaguar says that the C-X15 Concept car is powered by a brand new engine, a 3.0 liter supercharged V6, which is developing a total output of 380 horsepower, helped on the way by an additional electric motor, with 95 HP, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Besides the C-X15, Jaguar Land Rover will also display, at the same event, the XF, XK, XJ and C-X16, along with the 2012 Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Range Rover Evoque and the LR4.
