The Renault Sandero is actually a rebadged version of the Dacia Sandero and if you own such a model, than grab a chair because this news is definitely for you. The French based automaker Renault has recently announced that the Sandero GT, a special version of the popular hatchback, will soon go on sale in Brazil. According the guys at autolatest.ro, the model in question is getting the 1.6 liter 16-valve engine, which is producing 116 HP and over 154 Nm of torque. The model is also getting some minor tweaks to its body, along with a fresh set of 16-inch alloy wheels.

 

Unfortunately we don’t have any more details on the Renault Sandero GT but we will keep you updated on the subject. As a quick reminder, the Dacia Sandero is a supermini which is sold in left-hand drive markets only. The Sandero is based on the same platform as the Logan and it’s being assembled throughout the globe, from Romania, to Brazil and South Africa.
