According To Khabar Khodro , Kia has confirmed it will unveil a Nissan Juke rival at next month’s Frankfurt Motor Show, and these two teaser images give us a clue at how it's shaping up.
Internally known as the KED-10, which stands for Kia European Design and the 10th concept to come out of the European design studio, the KED-10 bares a striking similarity to the Kia GT concept unveiled at the Detroit Motor Show in 2012, and appears to feature 'ice-block' LED lights, like the new Pro Cee'd GT.
Unlike the recent Cub hatchback and Provo coupe concepts, the KED-10 features far more ground clearance. A double-bubble roof is just visible too, while the interior is extremely sparse, with a single moulded piece for the centre console and front seats.
Competition is rife among small hatchbacks at the moment, with the Renault Captur, Peugeot 2008 and Nissan Juke. So while a production version seems like a certainty, Kia is playing its cards close to its chest claiming there are no plans to put the car into production yet.
