According to Khabar Khodro, the CEO of Bahman Group in international conference of auto industry at conference center of Milad tower mentioned the importance of geographic place of Iran in Asia and Middle East and remembered its natural and fossil resources, transit superhighways and its partnership in Eco and being supervisor member of regional treaties of Shanghai.
Mohammadreza Soroush mentioned to 3.9 percent share of auto industry and 7.9 percent extra value of transportation from GDP of country and said there is a good chance in this part.
The CEO of Bahman Group analyzed the situation of car market in Middle East and North Africa and capitation amount of vehicles and purchasing ability of people in these regions. He remembered in exporting talks internalizing should be in a way that it is correspondence with purchasing ability of people of regions.
He explained the strategy of this group and said despite two big automakers in Iran whose strategy is mass production and in order to not confluence with them, we use “niche market” strategy. He said that sanctions are motives for update and innovation and internalizing products. He mentioned to activities of this group, which include prototyping and designing 6 tones truck that is called Shiler, 5 tones Shiler, selecting and designing engine line up with 120 hp and production lines of 2000 cc engines with 135 hp.
The CEO of Bahman Group mentioned companies such as Mazda, Isuzu, ZX, FAW and ChangHe as foreign partners and said this group has capability to produce 120000 units and 12 diverse models.
He mentioned the necessity to developing and modernizing public transport network and introducing a suitable car for taxi fleet. He said there are negotiations about this issue with foreign partners.
Finally, engineer Soroush said with new policies of 11th government and with potentials of auto industry in Iran and new opportunities in this region, there is possibility to use these conditions if trading partners are willing to.
