According to Khabar Khodro, deputy of sells and marketing in Iran Khodro said, “Despite all problems and barriers that automakers are facing in production, Iran Khodro is ready to supply needed vehicles of city transportation fleet in country.”
Abdullah Babai, added, “In recent years, Iran Khodro has also tried to produce and launch needed vehicles of taxi fleet in country and a significant part of taxis in country are products of this company.”
He admitted, “Cooperation of Iran Khodro in renewal plan of old cars was in a way that more than 1800 milliard rial accrued receivables is not paid to the company since 85. That has doubled the difficulties resulted from lack of liquidity in Iran Khodro but despite this problem we are ready to supply needed vehicles for renewing old cars.”
He remarked, “Iran Khodro’s point of view toward policies and plans in country was always national and in order to reach goals and benefits of country. We expect that associations, institutes and organizations to move with such approach in achieving plans in country in order not to interfere in other’s activities.”
Babai added, “Those who want to import taxis from out of country do not say that the problem is from local automakers.”
