According to Khabar Khodro, the conference of Iran Khodro Diesel’s representatives of sales and after sales services has been held.
According to the reporter of Khabar Khodro, engineer Razazi, the CEO of Iran Khodro Diesel Company mentioned to the role of services in success of company and brand and said, “If a product do not has an acceptable after sales services, its sales would not be welcomed.”
He announced the negotiations with Mercedes Benz for producing new products and added, “Recently, we had negotiations with Mercedes Benz for new products and the first term that this company was announced is achieving acceptable score in evaluation and review of after sales services in order to give us the product.”
He told, “Previously, we had cooperation with Mercedes and Hyundai, which consider quality and after sales services so serious.”
He explained that Iran Khodro Diesel is the biggest manufacturer of commercial vehicles in region with considerable engineering potential and production capacity.
He also announced the production of new 6 ton Arna Truck and admitted, “The design work of this truck is done and it’s passing tests and would be launched to the market soon.”
He remarked, “In new negotiations with Mercedes it is decided to offer new 900 series engine with higher power and standard, which would be produced in I.D.E.M Company, for Arna. The same engine would be used in Arian mini bus instead of CUMMINS engine.”
He reiterated, “Of course in recent two years we were facing many problems and lack of products, but fortunately they are mostly solved with the engineering power of company’s official.”
Razazi also announced the design of new two door 7 meter mini bus with more capacity and added, “12 and 18 meter city busses are designed and prototyped, too and they are testing.”
He mentioned to the start of exporting to Iraq and Ivory Coast in this year and said, “Soon we would start exports to Syria and Oman, too.”
He told that replacing parts of wagon hood truck is another new plan and admitted, “This truck is produced with 457 engine and euro 4 standard with plans for integrate its body and design. The product has improved by 10 percent last year, which should be accelerated.”
Finally, he remarked, “Now some parts of problems in this industry are the result of parts problems. We hope that quality of parts to be improved and the problem in supplying parts for Iran Khodro Diesel to be solved with launching high quality parts.”
