First virtual reality center of auto industry has been opened

According to Khabar Khodro, First virtual reality center of auto industry has been opened in Saipa research and innovation center with presence of the CEO and some high officials of this automaker.

Dr. Mahdi Jamali, the CEO of Saipa Auto Group in this event appreciated efforts of Saipa research and innovation center and asked for continuing this process in designing new products.

He mentioned to product design as one of the most important policies in Saipa and said, “Saipa could become one of the best companies in vehicles design if the region.”

He remarked the necessity of considering design and technical advancements in the world and added, “Designing new products and bringing innovation in different manufacturing segments could cover all tastes of costumers in local and foreign markets.”

He told, “Research and design segment are of high importance for Saipa.”

He announced that designing new platforms is the entrance of Saipa to the club of world’s best manufacturers and reiterated, “In all our relationships with famous global companies, we would consider benchmarking and transferring updated science into the country.”

According to this report, virtual reality center of vehicles, which is opened for auto industry for the first time, is built with efforts of local experts and cooperation of German partner and would have effects on engineering processes and design analysis in engineering.

This center, which was built with the goal of decreasing design costs and time, has two power wall and tunnel divisions that each one has effective roles in design processes in Saipa research and innovation center with their different usages.

In addition, another advantage of virtual reality equipment for Saipa would be showing new designs and products to customers, which would result in improving relations of Saipa with costumers.
