19 percent production increase of Saipa this year is satisfactory

According to Khabar Khodro, Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade in visiting Saipa mentioned to the production increase of this company and said, “Fortunately, we have seen 19 percent production increase in Saipa from beginning this year as compared to same time last year, which is a positive move and satisfactory event.”

Mohammad Reza Nematzade during visit of Saipa has also acknowledged about activities of this company.

He told, “We had good meeting with chiefs and officials of Saipa about product development and latest activities in designing new products of Saipa were reviewed. In addition, we had some meetings with managers of Iran Khodro and manufacturers of heavy duty vehicles.”

He added, “Reports indicate 19 percent production increase of Saipa as compared to last year and 17 percent increase as compared to year 93.”

He admitted, “Last year some policies and plans have determined for auto industry and based on them, platform, powertrain and design of vehicles should be prepared.”

He remarked, “We have this ability in auto industry and reports indicate the move of Saipa and Iran Khodro toward the issue.”

He reiterated, “Auto industry is important and necessary for any country as for technological development.”

Nematzade added, “Previously, vehicles were built on euro 2 standards but with new technologies today euro 5 and 6 standards are considered for producing cars and we hope that fuel to growth in quality as well.”

He told, “About production of trucks it is also decided to use euro 5 engines so we are in negotiation with related companies.”

He said, “Certainly, people would support local made products as always they do and automakers would help the process with increasing the quality of their products.”
