The site of Iran Khodro Azerbaijan would be operational in first next year

According to Khabar Khodro, in a meeting with presence of deputy of mines in Iran Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade, representatives of Iran Khodro and Azeri investor, the necessity of accelerating construction of Iran Khodro site in Azerbaijan and its opening by first next year was underscored.

JafarSarghini at the meeting, which was hold during Iranian trade exhibition in Baku with presence of ManouchehrTahaei, secretary and spokesman of Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade,HosseinEsfahbodi, the CEO of Tehran International Exhibitions Company, Amin Akhoundov, Azeri investor, chief of exports in Iran Khodro in central Asia and some experts, admitted accurate applying of recommendations of minister of industry  and remarked the necessity to accelerate process of developing this site, selling products with affordable and competitive price, offering after sales services and guarantee services and leasing.

At the meeting, the Azeri party announced hid satisfaction for cooperation with Iran Khodro and committed to start first phase of vehicle production by next year.

Iran Khodro’s site in Azerbaijan is developing with 14 million dollar investment of Azeri party in an area of 10 hectare. It is planned that in this site about 10000 units of Dena, Souren, Rana and Samand LX to be produced annually. Production of commercial vehicles is considered for second phase of this project in order to renew transportation fleet of this country.
