According to Khabar Khodro, the CEO of Iran Khodro Diesel has announced the start of renewal and revising old busses in urban transportation fleet of big cities, in this company.
Engineer, Mahdi Younesian mentioned to some cities tending to cooperate in this plan and said, "Related divisions in different cities have announced their readiness to attend this plan.”
He added, "The project has started with renewal of an old O457 bus that is delivered to costumer after three weeks of revising the powerplant and cabin trim with lowest prices.”
Younesian told, "In order to confront the current condition of market, Iran Khodro Diesel has tried its best for using local potentials in producing parts that were supplied by foreign companies for heavy duty vehicles.”
He admitted, "Iran Khodro Diesel along with Iran Khodro Industrial Group is trying to know the hidden capacities in country in order to be self-sufficient in producing parts for heavy duty vehicles and it would support knowledge based companies for cooperate in this division.”
He remarked, "Now, products such as WH1924 with 90 percent localization and Aryan mini bus with 80 percent localization are among honors of this company.”
He reiterated, "We are trying to do our obligations in determined times and with less delays.”
He added, "For next year, we have two scenarios. The first is local production with high amount of localization and the other is new agreements with foreign partners.”
