Start of “Key to Key” plan in Iran Khodro with launch of 40000th taxi

According to Khabar Khodro, the event of replacing 40000 old taxis in “Key to Key” plan was hold with presence of Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade, chief of EPA, assistant of president and managers of commission of industries and agriculture.

Iran Khodro CEO at the beginning of this event said, “Iran Khodro Company as the biggest car manufacturer in Iran and based on its social duty is committed to move forward in improving three pillars of healthy humans, healthy society and healthy environment.”

Engineer YekeZare’ told, “Iran Khodro Company has attended the plan of renewal of 90000 old vehicles from the beginning of this project and in order to apply it, the company had cooperated with Mellat Bank, Tejarat Bank and Parsian Bank.”

He added, “In this plan it was ordered that every applicant to receive 20 million toman loan with 23 percent of interest, 7 percent of which was transferred to Iran Khodro in order to support costumers.”

He mentioned to delivery of 40000^th taxi and remarked, “Until now, 63000 people are registered for renewal plan of old taxis.”

He admitted, “Now, about 10900 people are registered for this plan in Tehran and 9400 replaced taxis are delivered to applicants.”

He said, “Tehran, Tabriz, Mshhad, Shiraz, Karaj, Shahryar, Qom, Kermanshah and Qazvin are ten cities that have most registrations.”
