According to Khabar Khodro, the CEO of Iran Khodro Diesel has announced the inauguration of production line for HD65 and HD78 trucks of Hyundai after restarting cooperation with this company.
Alireza Saji, the CEO of Iran Khodro Diesel announced this and said, "After signing agreement of restarting cooperation between Hyundai and Iran Khodro Diesel and determining plans, production line of new trucks of this company have been opened in an event with the presence of high officials of this company.”
He added, "Iran Khodro Diesel as first and oldest partner of Hyundai in commercial vehicles would try to transfer technology and science of producing these products and increasing localization percentage of them along with producing newest products of this company.”
He admitted that after getting the necessary certificates from related organizations, numbering and delivering these products to customers would be started.
He mentioned to future outlook of developing cooperation between Hyundai and Iran Khodro Diesel in new era of cooperation and confirmed that negotiations and plans for diversifying portfolio and producing other new products of Hyundai such as suburban and city busses and mini busses and trucks are considered.
Hyundai HD75 sports a 150 hp engine and HD65 is equipped with a 140 hp engine. Both of these trucks are Euro 4+DPF compliant.
