There are unique opportunities in country for development of commercial vehicles

According to Khabar Khodro, the CEO of Bahman Group at the event of unveiling 3 new products of Bahman Deisel announced 49 percent cooperation of Temec Company in Iran Do Charkh Company and cooperation for producing motorcycles and their engine in this company.

According to the reporter of Khabar Khodro, engineer Soroush added, “This company is among active companies in developing motorcycles and we hope that we would be able to gain a good share in motorcycle market of country by 49 percent cooperation of it.”

He mentioned 25 percent share of commercial vehicles in global auto industry and told, “Unfortunately, this indicator in our country is only 15 percent, which shows little investment for this segment.”

He admitted, “Although there are unique opportunities in country for development of commercial vehicles but investment for this segment is low.”

He mentioned to high potential of parts making in country and said, “There are opportunities in country for producing and designing some parts of commercial vehicles. We hope that we have more stable and worthy presence in market of commercial vehicles.”

He remarked, “If high potential of local part makers along with stability goal in this industry and transit opportunities in country are in line there would be unique conditions for commercial vehicles industry in country.”

Engineer Soroush said, “Unfortunately, now we have serious limitations in commercial vehicles’ production while these kinds of vehicles are directly employment making.”

“It seems that these kinds of vehicles have unique opportunities for improvement. We hope that we would make a good situation for production of commercial vehicles with plans of government and parliament.”

Finally, he told, “We need new outlooks and ability to anticipate coming events in improving condition of production industry of commercial vehicles.”
