Auto industry has experienced a difficult year

Acco9rding to Khabar Khodro, member of parts makers’ forum board of management said, “Year 92 has had no good event for auto industry and there were different problems at this year.”

Mohammad Reza Najafi Manesh in an interview with Khabar Khodro’s reporter told, “Imposing sanctions of this industry in summer of 93 was the major problem of auto makers and has resulted in difficult situations for this industry.”

He added, “Not supplying liquidity has resulted in reduction of car manufacturing in 92 as automakers has the lowest amount of production in recent three years.”

He remarked, “Removing sanctions after six months and the conference that was held in Azar were effective events that affected the bad condition of auto industry. However, it is to say that 95 percent of sanctions including banks are still remaining.”

He admitted, “It is hoped that all sanctions to be removed with support of government and people and as a result the condition of auto industry to become better.”

 Najafi Manesh mentioned to the trip of foreign staff to Iran and added, “This shows the enthusiasm and interest of foreign automakers for having cooperation with Iran.”

He told, “The focus of minister of mines and trade on increasing production of cars in 93 and removing barriers of auto industry would be effective in improving the condition of automakers in next year.”

According to him, production of 1300000 units is in agenda of automakers for year 93. However, this amount is not as much as year 90 but it is double compared to recent two years.

He said, “Solving liquidity problems of costumers is possible with restarting leasing and increasing car loans to 15 or 20 million toman.”

He admitted, “It is possible that in year 93 foreign companies to be back to Iran and restart their activities.”
