According to Khabar Khodro, recently in an event with presence of Iran Khodro Diesel CEO the first Iranian fire fighting vehicle called Aria has unveiled.
According to the reporter of Khabar Khodro, the CEO of Iran Khodro Diesel in this event said, “Entering usage segment is among actions that are in Govah agenda as recently we had dumpdoom, trailer and now we are unveiling firefighting vehicle the production of which is so valuable considering the local need.”
Mahdi Younesian added, “Unveiling the prototype of Aria firefighting vehicle is valuable as its vehicle is made in Iran Khodro Diesel and the usage of it is applied in Govah Company. It can be launched as a joint venture of Iran Khodro Diesel.”
He told, “Aria uses the same powertrain of Hood wagon with new cabin, which has been launched in market last year and now we can see it as a fire fighting vehicle.”
He mentioned to the production of 30 Arias in Iran Khodro Diesel per day and reiterated, “Iran Khodro Diesel is capable of making fire fighting vehicles based on the Aria pickup if there is demand.”
The CEO of Iran Khodro Diesel mentioned to the delivery of 120 fire fighting vehicles by Govah in recent three years and told, “Giving the focus of some organizations like fire fighting and municipal on following strength rules, necessary cares about equipping this vehicle to updated standards are considered as in this vehicle European standards are base and its test were based on the most difficult ones.”
About new products of company in this year, Younesian admitted, “18 meters city bus the prototype of which is now built and is one of the new products of company for this year.”
He also remarked that L616 light pickup and Hood wagon truck are among new products of this company and added, “New Foton trailer is one of the new products of Iran Khodro Diesel, which would be produced and launched within next months.”
He announced the launch of petrol variant of pickup truck and told, “In addition, a new van is also the other new product of this company for this year, which would be produced and launched in second half of the year.”
