According to Khabar Khodro, Secretary of Parts Makers Association mentioned to the growth of cars' production in this year and told, "In first 4 months of this year we had about 75 percent increase in cars' production compared to same time last year, which is acceptable considering the plans of Ministry of Industry and Mine and automakers."
Sasan Ghorbani in an interview with Khabar Khodro's reporter said, "Parts makers had good companionship with automakers for supplying parts despite problems in collecting demands in order to reach this goal as cooperation of automakers and parts makers has resulted in increasing production of parts and employing about 20000 persons for parts making divisions."
About unemployment of 100000 work forces in recent two or three years he remarked, "Fortunately, with improving production in auto making and parts making divisions significant number of people came back to parts making industry of country, which is certainly a positive move."
He added, "Unfortunately, form the mid Tir of this year the industry is again facing production decline and stagnation as the result of ambiguity in prices, which is the result of several comments in media about cars' prices."
He admitted, "Now, companies that are in condition of unprofitable production are selling their properties for enduring losses, which is not a good news for auto industry in country. Who benefit from destruction of auto industry in country? Isn't it a preparation for more imports? We should not forget that any loss for national production in any way makes irreparable costs for whole economy in country and society. This number is dozens of times more than equity turnover in auto industry."
He reiterated, "As we know, selling properties for reviving specially for current costs of companies is not a good move in management but it is happening. In such a condition, most of the problems of auto industry are transferring naturally to parts making industry as 80 percent of a vehicle is prepared by parts makers."
Ghorbani added, "Unfortunately, recent conscious or unconscious acts in country again have resulted in stagnation of auto industry and also reducing work forces, reducing orders and reducing production in parts making divisions. Parts making companies would again layoff as the result of reduced production."
