Restart of old cars' renewal in Saipa

According to Khabar Khodro, in an event with presence of managers of Saipa and the chief of Transportation and Fuel Management Staff the memorandum of cooperation for  renewal plan of old cars of this group with the staff was signed and old cars' renewal plan has started in Saipa Auto Group.

 According to the reporter of Khabar Khodro, the CEO of Saipa in this event said, "according to the memorandum with Transportation and Fuel Management Staff 60000 units of vehicles would be replaced by old cars by end of this year, which is a good amount considering annual production of 500000 to 600000 units in this company. We hope the amount would be doubled or tripled in coming years."

Madani mentioned to the high rate of omission of carburetor vehicles compared with injector ones and added, "Because of 30 times more omission of old and carburetor vehiclesand their costs for country it seems that the plan of exiting old cars carburetor vehicles and motorcycles should be accelerated."

He admitted, "Considering 2 million units capacity of vehicles in country and loses that reduction of sales will be made for automakers, the renewal plan would make a guaranteed market for companies and would also help the environment."

He also announced the 13 new products of this company by next three years and told, "Until year 95 at least 13 new products of Saipa would be launched to market."

Madani remarked, "With predicting future of auto making in the world, Saipa is trying to move along with automotive world."
