Negotiations with Renault for increasing production capacity of Tondar 90

According to Khabar Khodro, the CEO of Saipa has announced eventual decrease of Pride production and stop of some production lines of this vehicle in Saipa and said, "From the end of this year, Saipa 232 new product would cover some part of Pride capacity."

According to the reporter of Khabar Khodro, engineer Madani in opening day of Development and Modernization event of Saipa Relief Service told, "According to determined plan, eventually the production capacity of Pride is decreasing even some production lines of Pride is stopped and in near future it would be replaced by X200 platform."

He added, "After Saipa 232 new product, SP100 project, which is a new and 100 percent Iranian platform, would cover some part of Pride's production capacity and from 95 it would replace the X200 platform."

About production capacity of Tondar in Saipa, he admitted, "Now production capacity of Tondar is decreased in Saipa but some delayed commitments would be applied by end of this year. In addition, we have some negotiations with Renault in order to increase production capacity of Tondar."

He remarked that production of Tondar 90 is not stopped and reiterated, "Now registration of Tondar 90 for 94 delivery time is done but indeed there is no pre booking for quick delivery and we try our best for compensate losses by end of the year."

About the condition of Megan applicants and the possibility of taking alternative vehicles he told, "Most of the people who wanted Megan can receive alternative vehicles."

The CEO of Saipa added, "With start of renewal plan of Emdad Khodro Saipa fleet the number of relief vehicles in Emdad Khodro Saipa would be increased eventually and they would replace older ones. In addition, there would be better equipments for these new cars."

Engineer Madani said, "According to determined plan, 50 units of vehicles that are entered relief fleet at the beginning of development plan would be increased to 200 units, eventually."

He said, "Fortunately, now the average waiting time of emergency services is decreasing in Iran so we expect that we would be able to increase the standard of relief services in Iran beyond global standards."
