According to Khabar Khodro, Modiran Khodro MVM 550 has been unveiled in an event with presence of officials from Cherry.
According to the reporter of Khabar Khodro, Bahram Shariat, chief of board members in Modiran Khodro at this event told, "This year two vehicles, MVM X33 and MVM 315 have been unveiled after updating and today another new and updated product from Modiran Khodro called MVM 550 in unveiled."
He said, "Pre booking and launch of the MVM 550 would start from Esfand of this year and according to determined plans, production of 20000 units of the vehicle is in our agenda for next year."
He added, "The price of manual 550 is 50 million toman while t goes up to 57 million toman for automatic version."
He remarked, "All plans and promises of Modiran Khodro for this year is done with launch of this new product and company has succeeded to launch three new products to the market."
He admitted, "This vehicle is a new one with affordable price and its basic advantage is the use of CVT gearbox."
He reiterated, "Now, Modiran Khodro is one of the basic members of Iran auto industry, which had significant growth in recent years and now is known as one of the three big automakers in market."
He also announced 100 percent production increase in Modiran Khodro and said, "Modiran Khodro Company launches 42000 units of vehicles to the market in this year, which shows 100 percent production increase compared to 21000 units of production in year 92."
Shariat told, "Sales of Modiran Khodro in last year was 29000 units and we hope that this year it would increase to 40000 units, which would result in 38 percent increase in sales."
He also announced the plan of producing 70000 units of vehicles by next year and added, "In addition to plans for increasing production, improving after sales services and offering accurate services to customers are among priorities of Modiran Khodro for next year."
He remarked, "Next year there would be a serious competition in Iran market, which shows the need for more efforts in respecting costumers."
He announced the plan of introducing MVM 315 automatic in market by next year and admitted, "In addition to this product, we would launch a mini vehicle in same segment as MVM 110 in order to answer costumers' needs."
