According to Khabar Khodro, Iran Khodro Diesel has debuted new Vana van in Shiraz Auto Show in order to supply different needs of passenger vehicles' market.
Ahmad Akrami, chief of passenger vehicles in Iran Khodro Diesel said, "This van is 13-seats and is launched in three gasoline, diesel and hybrid models the latter of which would be used for public transportation."
He added, "This product is introduced as a concept in order to evaluated costumers'' reaction and taste."
He told, "Iran Khodro Diesel has announced its readiness for supplying this segment of public transportation with introducing this new van, which uses powerful CUMMINS engine."
He announced that Taxi Union and Road Maintenance and Transportation Organization are potential costumers of this vehicle and admitted, "After starting its production, the localization process would be applied eventually."
