The main cause of people's dissatisfaction is the quality of automakers' old products

According to Khabar Khodro, Secretary of Iran Automakers' Association said, "Reports of Iran Standard and Quality Inspection Company show that costumers' satisfaction for local products is improving but this process is not acceptable yet."

Ahmad Nematbakhsh in an interview with Khabar Khodro's reporter told, "Iran Standard and Quality Inspection Company is responsible for the audit of vehicles so the company is always in contact with vehicle buyers or those who go to workshops in order to evaluate their satisfaction for local products."

He added, "However, today automakers say that the quality of vehicles is not acceptable yet. Therefore, me, as the Secretary of Iran Automakers' Association apologize costumers for the current quality of local vehicles."

He remarked, "Today the main cause of people's dissatisfaction is the quality of automakers' old products although automakers are continuously trying to revise processes and solve problems and apply the projects of improving quality in response to the feedbacks of costumers and buyers. But since the age of some vehicles is long and some of them are 20 or 30 years old they should be renewed in order to solve problems."

He reiterated, "Among the reasons that have caused delays in developing products of automakers in recent years, sanctions were most effective ones as in this time it was impossible to cooperate with famous foreign companies and to produce new vehicles. Therefore, still there is some dissatisfaction for quality of local products."

He admitted, "The process of developing products in auto making companies should be accelerated in order to satisfy costumers and rule out old vehicles eventually. However, this action is not possible in one day."
