According to Khabar Khodro, the ordinary and extraordinary annual general meeting of Iran Khodro Diesel Company was hold in Tir 21st at Sunday with presence of CEO and board members, officials, statutory auditor and more than 75 percent of shareholders of this company.
Engineer GholamrezaRazazi, the CEO of Iran Khodro Diesel was the first speaker of this meeting that has investigated current condition of company and its upcoming plans.
At first, he welcomed guests and has announced that Iran Khodro Diesel has a production capacity about 35000 units of heavy duty vehicles including passenger vehicles such as busses and mini busses and different types of trucks, which could be enough for all the needs in country.
He told, “Having diverse products is among goals of this company and this approach is reforming.”
He mentioned to recent sanctions toward Iran that have resulted some problems for automakers and added, “Those problems had directed us toward designing products locally and using existing engineering powers. With such a big effort, in year 93 production line of Arian mini bus has started and this approach would be completed with production of products such as Arna Truck and 12 and 18 meters busses.”
He said, “Supply chain of Iran Khodro Diesel would be full as previous and all of its products would be launched based on market demand. The company would have a new diversity in production at the beginning of every period and it eventually would launch vehicles that are designing.”
About cooperation with Chinese partners he remarked, “We have a wide relation with our Chinese partners, too. Last year and now most of the cooperation of us were with Foton company for pickups, vans, lorries and other products, all of which were ready to launch in market. We also have cooperation with Yutong for developing the bus that would be launched this year. We are also re-explaining cooperation and relation with two other Chinese companies.”
At the end, he hoped that goals of this company to be achieved and said considering double production compared to last year, year 94 is the time of exiting downturn and reaching acceptable condition.
