Actros trailer would be produced in Iran Khodro Diesel by next year

According to Khabar Khodro, the CEO of Iran Khodro Diesel announced that exhibitionof capabilities in Iranautomotive industryis a good opportunity to introduce new products of automakers and said, “While many developments are happening in auto industry after BARJAM, it is necessary that Iran auto industry to show new achievements.”

Engineer Razazi in an interview with Khabar Khodro’s reporter told, “We hope that presence of local and foreign companies and costumers in this show would make a good move in better introduction of products and capabilities of Iran auto industry.”

He mentioned to the shown products of Iran Khodro Diesel in this show and added, “In exhibitionof capabilities in Iranautomotive industry, Iran Khodro Diesel company has shown a combination of commercial and passenger vehicles, which include Mercedes Benz Actros and Axor trailers, Foton pickup, C1836 and C1230 busses, Arian mini bus, Arena truck and two pickups with ambulance and money carrying usage.

He also announced the production of Actros trailer next year and admitted, “According to determined plans, production of this new vehicle would be started in Iran Khodro Diesel by next year.”

He mentioned to the start of Arena truck production line in this month and remarked, “This product would be launched to market with engine developed by Mercedes and 80 percent localized powertrain.”

He reiterated, “Now our pickup has different usages such as ambulance and money carriage, which were shown to visitors of the show.”

Engineer Razazi said, “With a powerful engineering team, Iran Khodro Diesel Company has succeeded to localize its mini bus product and soon localization of trucks would be done, too.”

He told the most important plan of this company for next year is production of busses and added, “We hope that these new products in bus segment that are testing now, to be launched first next year.”
